Behind the Brand
Hi! I’m Michelle —
I’m the hands & heart behind StreetStyle Stix.
After 25 years in tech support and later transitioning into instructional design, I knew it was time to build something of my own.
I’ve always loved technology, design, and solving problems — whether that meant troubleshooting a server, crafting a course, or figuring out how to get a perfect vinyl job applied on a windy day.
I grew up loving stickers and buttons, but in today’s world, they’re hard to come by unless you stumble into an old record store – those are few and far between as well. So I bought a small vinyl cutter, a color printer and made my own.
What started as a creative outlet quickly turned into something bigger. A YouTube video led me into the world of large-format custom vinyl graphics, and before long, I’d bought a commercial cutter and taught myself how to use it.
I’ve worked across startups and big businesses, and I bring all that behind-the-scenes knowledge to help other micro business owners — especially those just getting started. I’ve always had a heart for helping others and a hard time asking for help myself (still working on that).
StreetStyle Stix lets me stay independent, creative, and connected — while doing work I love and helping others shine along the way.
